Spring is in the air and that means allergies for me. I managed to get through this video without sneezing.

Melanie Peterson-Katz has a listing at 1333 Ptarmigan Drive, No. 7, which has just been listed. This was featured on Patch a few weeks ago, it's a two-bedroom, two-bath co-op  with 1,162 square feet of living space in the Rossmoor Retirement Community. 

A co-op is like a condominium but instead of buying just the unit, you are buying into a share of the building itself.  When someone purchases a condo, they are simply buying the airspace between the walls. As for a co-op, you are buying shares into a resident-owned and managed building. It's a group effort, like buying into a corporation.

The home shows really well and professional stager Judi Haile, who got called in to update the home, showed us what she did in order to transform the outdated into something extra buyer friendly. The fresh paint and carpet will give a seller the biggest bang for their buck. The kitchen looks amazing and was quite impressive when I took a look at the before photos.

They both put it in beautiful condition and the home is simply ready to move in.

Patch.com is a website owned by AOL Time Warner. AOL is banking on the hyper-local news market and is doing quite well. From what I've heard the sites are getting thousands of local hits a day and they are selling ad space fast. So long newspapers!

All this rain! It doesn't stop! But then it did and we headed over to 140 Lancaster Road in Walnut Creek where we went on tour with Terrylynn Fisher in her newly listed home.

This property has just hit the market and it's priced to sell. Anyone with a family won't pass this added on family room and updated kitchen up. It's great for entertaining because there is so much room in the common areas. 

There are two added on rooms upstairs and they are big. The master bath is beautiful and I loved the closets. 

Surprisingly there was a backyard with technically a sixth room. The hobby room gets electricity and could be a great place for someone's son who wants to learn the drums.

The homes location is incredible. Located in a cul-de-sac the property sits next to Club Sport and the Boundary Oaks Golf Club. Summer time won't be boring for whoever buys it. What a great home!

Here's a cool house. We went on tour with Jennifer Griessel of Prudential Realty in this historic property she's selling. The home was built in 1916 for Judge Bray and is located just a short walk from the Martinez courthouse. 

The home is a 3 bedroom 3 bath and went through renovation in 2003. Downstairs is really nice with a movie theater, bar and hobby room. The home has really has everything.
